Here are the best plans for the weekend on Ibiza and Formentera

This weekend is full of theater and music

Theater and music are the protagonists of the cultural and leisure agenda for Ibiza and Formentera this weekend.

The theatrical billboard is headed by the play ‘Una historia de amor’, this Saturday at Can Ventosa, which is having a successful tour throughout Spain. It is directed by Alexis Michalik and features well-known actors from film and television such as Félix Gómez, Loreto Mauleón, Silma López, Almudena Cid and Alba Jiménez. Also on Saturday, the theater group Attípico premieres ‘El ascensor’, at the Teatro Espanya in Santa Eulària. And the day before, on Friday, another premiere at the Teatro Espanya, the play ‘Peccata minuta’, by the Grup de Teatre del Institut d’Estudis Eivissencs.

As for music this weekend, there are several exciting events, including the recital ‘Flores apparuerunt’, by the female choir Encantades, this Thursday at the Teatro Espanya. Although on Saturday there is a bunch of concerts. In the auditorium des Caló de s’Oli, the group Los Aurora premieres its new album, ‘La bala de la Medusa’; in Es Birra de es Canar, El Niño de la Hipoteca closes the season ‘Cantares de colores’, and in Formentera comes the singer-songwriter Miquel Serra, within the program of the Primavera de Cultura (Spring of Culture), among others.

In addition, the May festivities of Santa Eulària continue this weekend, with several offerings, such as the Diada Intercultural between Ibiza and Paraguay, on Saturday morning at the Ethnographic Museum or acrobatics by Ibiza Arte Aéreo on Sunday at the Teatro Espanya.

On Saturday there is a new Vila cultural history itinerary, and the final ‘caramelles de Pasqua’ in Sant Rafel. There are also conferences, book presentations and gastronomic activities over the weekend.
