Baleària will reinforce its connections from Dénia to Ibiza and Palma with the incorporation of the ferry Bahama Mama during the summer campaign to respond to the “high demand” in the summer season and enhance weekend trips between the Peninsula and the Balearic Islands, as reported by the shipping company in a statement.

From mid-June, the company will offer four additional connections a week with the Ibizan port and two with Palma. The ferry will complement the daily rotation of the fast ferry Eleanor Roosevelt on the triangular route with Ibiza and Mallorca and the connections of the fast ferry Ramon Llull with the Pitiusas.

From Friday to Monday, the shipping company will connect the Peninsula with Ibiza in a three and a half hour trip, departing at 7.30 am from the port of Dianes and returning at 8.30 pm. Also, on Fridays and Sundays the ferry will complete the route to Palma, departing from the port of Ibiza at 11.30 am and returning at 4.30 pm with destination Ibiza and Denia. In addition, the shipping company has scheduled additional services to meet peak demand during July and August.

The ship has different accommodations (armchair, superior armchair and cabins) in addition to services such as store, bar, restaurant or children’s area. Likewise, it incorporates smart services, such as access to a free on-demand digital entertainment platform, Internet connection, webcams in the pet-friendly cabins, QR code access to lounges and cabins and free WhatsApp coverage.

Connections to Valencia and Barcelona

Baleària will also offer daily ferry connections to Mallorca and Ibiza from the ports of Valencia and Barcelona. This summer the shipping company will have three ferries to Ibiza, three to Palma and one to Alcúdia from the mainland.
