Úrsula Pomar, director and teacher of the Formentera School of Music and Dance, and former teacher José Jaime Hidalgo, plan to offer a flute and piano concert next April 23th in the hall of Cultura (cinema) in Sant Francesc, at 8:30pm. The repertoire they will offer is composed of works by C.P. Bach, Tchaikovsky, Liszt and Mozart, among others. The concert is included in the program of events organized by the department of Culture of the Consell de Mallorca to celebrate Sant Jordi.
Concert performers
Pomar is a young flautist born in Sóller (Mallorca) who is presented as one of the instruments promising artists. She is a member of the Jove Orquestra Nacional de Catalunya.
José Jaime Hidalgo is a Valencian pianist specialized in opera and ballet repertoire with an extensive artistic career. He is also a distinguished improviser, composer and pedagogue. He is a concert pianist at national and international level.
