Three boats with 36 migrants arrived last night and early this morning to the coasts of Formentera, as reported by the Government Delegation in the Balearic Islands, all “in apparent good health”. These are added to the three boats that arrived two days ago with a total of 53 migrants.
Migrants started arriving at 10pm
The first arrived at 10pm yesterday, September 9th, with a total of 15 people of North African origin. The boat arrived at Migjorn beach. Patrols from citizen security from the Formentera Guardia Civil intervened.
At 1:30 am today, September 10th, another boat arrived to the coast of the smaller Pitiusa with 10 people of North African origin to the area des Caló. Again, patrols from citizen security from the Formentera Guardia Civil intervened.
Finally, also at 1:30am this morning, September 10th, a third skiff with 11 people of North African origin arrived at the beach des Copinar, where patrols of citizen security and the Policía Local of Formentera intervened.
